Life is but

life is not what we envisage,
and try to manage
when things are not moving smoothly!
we bent on luck and curse angrily

let us understand and make one thing very clear
we needn't fear
and later on, pay dearly
submitting helplessly

if birth is by the grace of God
you should be prepared to face the odd
life has everything to add
and make open the way to lead

you can't expect life to be soft
and assure the rift free passage
if you want to live royally
face the onslaught boldly

life favours brave
and behaves like a pet
and lets you avail yourself an opportunity
to spend the rest of life happily

patience and tolerance can be your good friends
and take you up to an end
for sending a success story
to all those who believe in destiny

you make an imprint on pages of life
and say, it is beautiful even if remains torn with strife
life is another name of the challenge
and throws it open for people of all ages
