Life is what you make it is partly true
And what we receive from life is what we are due
But for everybody such is not the case
Not for those by chance of birth born in the wrong place
Haile Selassie to Rastafarians is a God
But when he ruled in Ethiopia millions were downtrod
And hundreds of thousands of malnutrition slowly and painfully died
A fair go in life to them had been denied
Haile Selassie was a billionaire
Whilst his people were hungry that does not seem fair
Some of the people the millions out there celebrate
Are not free of taint and as people not great
Life is what you make of it in part may be true
But does everyone receive what is their due?
