Life Lessons Poem by Kesav Venkat Easwaran

Life Lessons

Rating: 5.0

Driving along, in the life journey,
we at times opt to take the back seat-
not that the road turns rough
nor the greeneries go fading-
we become tired
on account of pursuing aspirations aplenty

More than many at a time
we need rest, we need rethinking,
we need a bit of reassembling
our plans and purpose

We often like to hand over the wheel
to our dear ones, most trustworthy

Life, sometimes, turns out to be a bitter teacher_
much corrective, compulsive

So very true. A wonderful and insightful poem. Yes, the intricacies of life drain us. Our dreams and aims in life oftentimes push us to the limit. There is a need to settle for a while to renew our strength and enthusiasm. A well thought out write beautifully crafted.
