Life On A Rollercoaster Poem by Patty Rose

Life On A Rollercoaster

A collage of pictures
I could paint
thousands of words
to prevent the pain
times of sorrow, ecstasy
falsehoods unknown
tomorrow’s unseen

Understand this picture
for you, my dear
life must move
neither fast nor slow
time will lift the hope
your eyes will seek
when dark days
let go your mind
burdened and wrung

but there is hope down this lonely path
for no soul should ever live this way
and if you look closely at that collage of pictures
you will see me amongst the dreams and wrath
