Life's Purpose Poem by Edwina Reizer

Everyone’s purpose as they experience life
is different, yet it’s the same.
We’re all in this drama together it seems
and yet why is it we came?

We came to learn and not to judge
and to love our fellowman.
None of it’s easy and yet it is right
and so we do the best we can.

It’s so easy to remember when we’re in spirit
but on earth we do forget
that love is the emotion that is our goal,
the goal that we have set.

All of the emotions we experience here
just try to get in our way.
Greed and envy and hate that we feel
just make us go astray.

The way to be happy and be in peace
is you will have to find love
in every creation that’s in our world
and all that it’s made of.
