Time can only tell how the pieces will fall
If they will come together or spread apart
Like a puzzle or a picture you hang on the wall
Something that lasts forever from the start
Or is it just a memory that someday will fade
All the hard work and effort was for nothing
Trying to keep the puzzle together that we made
Is it worth saving? Is it worth something?
Are there two people trying to keep it together
Are both sides putting pieces in or taking some away
Is this going to last forever?
Or is it going to live from day to day
We must maintain the same goals and aspirations
To keep this love alive
We must not forget about communication
Or everything we have could die
Stronger and stronger our love can grow
If we build this puzzle together as one
It is never easy, this we both know
We have to remember the puzzle will never be done
Even though at times it may seem overwhelming
It is something we build upon every day of our life
Always remembering each other and our part of the puzzle
Me as your husband and you as my wife

I like this comparison of a relationship to either a puzzle (with parts to lose) or a painting, solidly put together. Carefully thought out and crafted Mike. Thanks for sharing.
