Life's River Poem by Moth Harris

Life's River

The search for money love and lust,
a game of longing and little trust.
It's a must to know where the river goes.
The high's and lows and the undertones
or her voice, calling me names of her choice,
I still rejoice at the sound, heart break and memories found.
Well, you found me here, you left me there
somewhere in the lost tides, a lonely and lost heart hides,
The rapids are so refreshing, a blessing to my bones,
So cold to the touch, so tough and such a rush,
as is life, or love, or lust.
As the river flows, I'm afraid I may rust and break away
into tiny pieces, in the river bed I'll lay.
