Life's Time Poem by Sandra Feldman

Life's Time

Rating: 5.0

Letting go
Our long time dreams,
Streaming, fast away
Memories past
Cannot be held
That swiftly
Fleet away,
So is the past,
So is the past,
That leaves us,
But today.

All flutters by,
In Life's great sigh
Does not come back,
Dissolving, in Today,
Time takes away
But won't give back,
All dreams,
That would not stay,
So is the present
Into past,
So is the present
Into past,
Like butterflies
That hardly,
Live a day.

Fluttering by like a butterfly As ephemeral as a sigh Dissolving away Day by day Our life’s hourglass Runs out, oh so fast! Lovely poem, Sandra, and sadly true.
