Lifeless Love. Poem by Lisa Mider

Lifeless Love.

Rating: 2.5

I'm tired of pretending,
I'm tired of telling my self that's the way it is,
will things ever get better?

Shall I ever be who I am truly suppose to be?
I fake threw most of it all, but it sickens me.
My whole life I have felt alone, no one truly knows me.

Sadness and despair it's always there. I feel peace when I look at the star lit sky,
and the moon is so high,
the rain is my lullaby.
Thats where dreams consume me,
as I slumber deep where my life feels complete.
It's only lonely when I awake.

Is it 'Lifeless Love' or 'Loveless Life'? Whatever, you seem to have a dull, somber life. Whatever may be the reason for this, a little meditation on gifts of God and mother nature may uplift your spirit. 'I feel peace when I look at the star lit sky, and the moon is so high, the rain is my lullaby. Thats where dreams consume me, as I slumber deep where my life feels complete. It's only lonely when I awake.' A simple gaze at nature may fulfill your heart. Watching a bird in flight, a flower in a sprightly dance or a dutiful, busy bee or an ant preparing for a rainy day may bring a message of peace.
