Lifeline Poem by Sally Plumb Plumb

Lifeline

You are the North.
I am the South.
We'll meet at the equator.
Don't wanna put
you under pressure.
I can't wait any later.

I'm placin' all
my bets on you,
don't care what happens
here or there,
you touch the centre
of my mind
and lay my memories bare.

I'll feed you
with my unheard thoughts
so you can shuffle
like playing cards
the tradgedies and comedies,
the fantasies of love
and words.
