Life's Lonely Song. Poem by Sandra Feldman

Life's Lonely Song.

Rating: 3.2

Finally,
In one way
Or another,
We are All
Alone,
So you might
As well,
Love, yourself
For you have
No other,
That really will,
While life's
Regretful tears
Your empty heart,
Do fill,
As we sing
Or cry
Life's Lonely Song.
At will.

COMMENTS OF THE POEM

Profound, insightful and philosophical. "Alone in the crowd" is a cliche, but a fact too. Loved it, Sandra. Top score and myfav

Very philosophical and realistic piece. That's the reality of life. Everyone has to fight their own battles alone. Full marks for putting this truth so well.

Live in hope Sandra, live in hope as we all need love, even if it's only a pet.

Interesting and thought provoking. We are all individuals, even when part of a crowd.
