(((Light Of You))) Poem by Theodora (Theo) Onken

(((Light Of You)))

Rating: 4.9

Daylight shines as a septre
Radiant much as your smile
Equal to the eclipse of the Moon
'Tis our love-traveled over years of miles;
Oh gallant-my most beloved
So enchanted-i am-here this day
Bewitched by the magic that you adroitly weave
Sweet and new much as the month of May;
Brillant-so brillant far beyond the pale
Blindingly white- shining supreme
Heavenly devout in your sweet presence
Ecstatic in the pure ecstacy of our dreams;
Euphoria as in the Firmaments dwelling
Sparking as diamonds in the black velvet sky
Full day has made itself 'round once and again
And you-beloved gallant-remain in my eyes;
Oh such sweet-sweet surrender
Whether azure sky of day or ebon' of the night
Gleaming with such amazing brillance
I am nearly blinded by your Light! ;
