Lightning Poem by Michael Staples

Lightning

Rating: 5.0

LIGHTNING

A seemingly threat,
A view for glory,
Lighting the dark,
With its power, all so mighty,
It mumbles through the air,
A message no one knows,
But never the less we listen,
And watch as it shows,
The many paths it splits,
Like a sign from god,
That life is about roads,
With turning points,
Created at random,
And if we choose the right one,
We will strike the ground,
With a permanent burn mark,
For all to remember.
