Lights On The Water Poem by Christopher Teale

Lights On The Water

Lights floating on the water,
Over the dark and cold
Lights floating on the water
From the days of old

The darkness swallows
All that they can give
The darkness swallows
As the world they leave

They get lost as they float
Away into the unknown
They get lost as they float
Where a path exists, that is never shown.
