Daniel Edward (quakertown, pa)
Poems by Daniel Edward : 13 / 26
like a chariot race
like chariots
racing about my head
i think they are on fire
and closing in
on me
so keep making laps
spin spin spinning
superimposing
visions in my head
firey images
kill hopeful dreams
but the horses
get tired
and they die down
but the whip
keeps landing
on my back
