Like Reds And Violets Poem by Ana Liza Corpuz Nabor

Like Reds And Violets

Rating: 4.3

Dark hues of reality
Hovers in the mind incessantly;

Trying to cover the shade,
the tint and shadow;

Amid the abyss of fantasy,
Red I dreamt but can't be.

Treading the path of colors,
But solely with purple, lavender and lilac;

But I long to hold scarlet; however
The string reflection pulled me back, said, "you can't".

Like reds and violets,
Our hearts never complements;

Apart, they wave and reflect the same colour,
Together, impossible to make one true color.
