Like Sweet And Sour Sauce Poem by RAJ NANDY

Like Sweet And Sour Sauce

LIKE SWEET AND SOUR
SAUCE

Having learnt to embrace pain and
suffering,
I became a man, a true human
being!
For only sweetness on my palate,
Had created a nauseatic feeling!
Now I savour life fully,
And nothing goes waste;
Like sweet and sour sauce, -
Which enhances life's taste!

But alas, my limited shelf-life,
Made me to hurry and haste;
When an wise old man advised,
To take things in my stride.
For the best of life is yet to be,
And with patience my time I should
abide, -
While enjoining with sauce, the taste
of life,
Without making haste!
And in time the prophecy,
Proved to be true for me;
And I embraced eternal life,
When I tasted death, - only for
a while!
