Lines Poem by Vera Sidhwa

Lines

Lines

He walked the straight lines
His parents wanted him too
And he liked it
For a while.

In teenage years
He walked a crooked line
And oh it was the most energetic one
And he loved it.

Later on, the straight path
Made him look at caution
Of things that didn't
Make sense to him.

In older years
He walked a straighter line
Because after all the years past
He liked it.
