Listen Poem by Hopeless Heart

Can you hear them whispering,
They whisper things in my ear
But I don’t understand them,
Can you help me understand?

I hear them all around me,
Wherever I go
Whatever I do
I hear them speak to me

I wish I understood them
For they have the answers I want,
I need to understand them
Won’t you help me understand?

Every corner I turn their voices speak to me
Every inch of me is surrounded,
Sometimes they’re so loud I can’t think
And still not a word I can figure

Why can’t I understand them?
So loud the angels in heaven could hear them
And yet I still don’t understand
Please will help me understand?

Sometimes I can feel them
Sometimes they scare me
But all the while they whisper,
Whisper things I don’t understand

I don’t want to be scared,
I want to understand,
I want to know

Please will you?
Won’t you?
Can you?
Help me understand?
