Little boy, who doesn’t laugh at my jokes,
who I have to coax.
Little boy, detached and distant,
who is so persistent and resistant.
Little boy, trapped inside,
I wish I knew what goes though your mind.
Little boy, so obsessed,
I wish I shared your quest.
Little boy, so confusing and complex,
You do perplex and vex.
But oh little boy, how much do I feel blessed,
To just have known you.
