Little By Little Poem by Asma Khan

Little By Little

Rating: 4.0

You will stop loving me little by little
and the crystal moon will be dull one day
the seasons would not wear my remembrance
nor the winds direct you to my ways.

You will stop loving me little by little
and the winter will be chilly and cold like never before
the days will linger by a lasting silence
bringing nothing but a shadow of dying sun.

You will stop loving me little by little
and the dreams will no more be a message of my love
the nights will be dark and shallow
with no one patting you sweet dreams anymore.

You will stop loving me little by little
and the rain will be just a shower of water in your eyes
the mirror will remind you of my existence
with no presence in your life or dreams.

You will stop loving me little by little
and the growing age will remind you of your loneliness
the time will be an envelope of living to you
with a message of name written without your name in it.

You will stop loving me little by little
and the sky will be grey and heavy on your heart
you will hear me in the air with no imagination
and a long path to walk alone will welcome you.
