Little Child Poem by Anna Hardin

Little Child

Little child go to bed,
little child rest your head.
Little child don't be afraid,
To be afraid, the darkness was not made.

Just go to sleep and have a dream,
dreams are never what they seem.
Just close your eyes and awaken in the morning time.
Just have a dream as sweet as lime.

Little child go to sleep,
little child, sleep so deep.
Little child listen to my rhyme,
little child awaken in the morning time.

Lovely poem... Blake-like sounds n diction, he says Little Lamb Who made thee? Dost thou know Who made thee? And it IS a poem.
