Little Toy Soldiers Poem by Christina L Johnson

Little Toy Soldiers

Rating: 3.5

Tonka trucks and building blocks
Baseball bats and cowboy hats
Superman capes and cardboard forts
Comic books and baseball cards

Skinned up knees and worn out jeans
Tennis shoes with out any string
A fishing pole and a bucket of worms
Pockets filled with rocks and sand

Mason jars and coffee cans
A million no's and a lot of whys
Muddy hands and a dirty face
Hand prints all over the place
