Little White Lie Poem by Edwina Reizer

Little White Lie

Rating: 5.0

Little white lie, see what you've done.
You've led yourself to another one.
You've grown much bigger in your size
and now you fear some are wise
to how you mushroomed and became
an injustice to truth and its name.

Little white lie don't pretend
that one little fib will probably end.
Take a step back and hold your tongue.
Swallow it up and hide it among
all the secrets that shouldn't be said.
For little white lies will always spread.

Oh what a tangled web we weave when first we practice to deceive - very wise write.
