Little White Lies Poem by Juan Olivarez

What is the purpose of little white lies,
To just stretch the truth a bit?
Cause truth with the wind sometimes flies,
And your conscience will take a hit.

Little white lies, walk a fine line,
Between the truth and fabrication.
But soften blows like a fine wine,
When your'e close to desperation.

Little white lies, are a useful tool,
To put your point across.
And you won't feel like such a fool,
When for words your'e at a loss.
