Why tell me how to live my life?
When it is being lived.
Why decide my choices?
When I can do that myself.
Why tell me how to look after myself?
When I am doing just that.
Why tell me my opinions?
When they are self decided.
Why tell me what to say?
When I have my own voice.

How can I argue fact?
When you think you’re always right.
How can I be open-minded?
When you let me believe one thing.
How can I live the way you want me to?
When I choose how to live.
How can I express the way I feel?
When you stop my expressed feelings.
How can I make you understand,
That you should live your life not mine?
