Lives To Live Like This Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Lives To Live Like This

If a doing of wrong,
Can not be admitted.
By those elected to sit,
In positions of leadership.
Representing the interests,
Of the people.
From which they were selected and picked,
To have their ideals...
Acknowledged as wished.

What example does this set,
To expect the children of today...
Will respect the truth.
Today. Tomorrow or if ever to know it.
With a future ahead believing to receive,
Punishment to receive is envied.
And pursuing deception and dishonesty,
Has more benefits...
If on their knees they pray for this.

And...
Hope that God will leave them blessed.
To have lives like this successfully lived!
