Living Free Poem by Heather Z. Hanna

Living Free

Money has not been good to you.
It has not served you well.
The problems that were created
Were too painful, like hell.

So you've left it all behind.
The cost has been so great.
But now you are in this world
Living your life with fate.

Living for yourself
And not for others still.
Keeping life in simple terms
Loving life as you will.

Just being, you say
Is greater than all by far.
Yes, money has not served you well
It's power not on par.

So money you left behind
Along with so many things.
Including those that should be dear
Are parasites that cling.

It left you with a bitter taste
Yet living life is so much more
That you have found your place
And where it is to soar.

Away from angry times
And glad you are to be,
To ease your burdened Heart
Keeping you, for company.

Enjoying each new day
And the people you meet
Seeing life with open eyes
Stretching thoughts to greet.

Everything to know and see,
Arranging puzzle pieces.
Challenging your mind
With delight and teases.

Then moving on to other places.
Do it all over again.
Finding love in living life.
With you, you are a friend.
