Living On Memories

I feel so alone without you
I feel so alone when you're gone
I can't get through the night without you
So let alone the dawn

I stare into the horizon
Waiting for the sun to rise
Silenced, I appreciate beauty
As it brightens up the skies

It is then it strikes me
To know it's another day
To know that for the next 24 hours
You're gonna be away

I'm currently living on memories
Mostly happy memories of the past
But with time slowly ticking it away
Would it be enough to last
