Living Patiently Poem by Julia Miller

Living Patiently

Rating: 5.0

When you’re ready,
Come back home to me.
I’ll be waiting patiently,
Unwillingly,
For you to see
What I knowingly
Repress, enduringly,
Avoidingly.
Your face, it kills me.
I ignore you faithfully,
So we can live numbly,
Emotion free.
But when we’re ready,
Come back home to me.
We’ll both live patiently.
- Sincerely,
Yours
