Loiter Oh Dear Light Poem by Kumarmani Mahakul

Loiter Oh Dear Light

Rating: 5.0

Dear light, you wait, wait and wait,
We are going to wake up soon this day,
Without apparent purpose you stand,
You wait around hiding behind clouds.

Slowly, slowly you walk to reach us,
We shall wait you there near a forest,
You hide there behind hill and trees,
We shall invite you with initiatives.

Daily you dawdle and let us dawdle,
We search you and you search us again,
Having enlightened hopes we move more,
Loiter oh dear light, to come with God.

You loiter and bring pure wisdom of God,
We are waiting for your appearance here,
You disappear but you come with appearance,
Dear light, you glorify soon God's name.

Without light our eyes would be useless with nothing to see. Beauty would be lost. A wonderful poem honoring God, the spirit of light.
