Loneliness Poem by Zachary Stefanski

Loneliness

“Loneliness”
zachary stefanski

Loneliness is dark

It’s not a walk in the park

Loneliness is feeling alone

Even in a crowd

Where normal things like being happy

aren’t allowed

Loneliness makes you your own best friend

Someone you’ll always be stuck with…

To the end…

Loneliness is a pain

Deep inside my chest

Always there and never leaves

Not like all the rest

Some pains come and some pains go

But loneliness grabs a hold of you…

And never lets you go

Loneliness is talking to yourself…

No matter how stupid you feel

Answering yourself is insanity…

I hope I know what is real
