Longing

He his shipped off
i am at home
he is a thousnad miles away
and my heart is longing for him
i miss his touch, his kiss
his arms wrappedaround my waist
i shed tears while i wait to hear from him
but that could be months
he is shipped off
i am at home
this one year is taking so long
but no matter what
i will wait
and when he returns it will be great
