Look On The Bright Side Poem by Mr. Mackeith

Look On The Bright Side

They say 'Look on the bright side' when something bad happens.
I say 'where are my glasses? '
The side in which everything is fine.
The side of a whole piece of mind.
Not my mind.
The 'bright side' and 'reality' dont mix.
Like pick up sticks, don't poke yourself kids.
Handle problems as they come.
With open minds and drums of steel.
To battle with adversity.
Not 'Look on the bright side' as the problems attack from the rear.
Your to busy looking on the 'bright side'
Keep your head up strong
Look forward and deal with the deal.
Quit crying and complaining.
The problem still exist
Or you can look on the 'bright side'
Become blinded in bliss.
Instead stay focused and strong.
Move to press on.
Although I mean what I say, and say what I mean
I still haven't found my glasses!
