you say you don't care
but i can see you do
don't let my face fool you
becuase i do to

we said our goodbyes but it's not the end
i can tell this is just where it begins
the thoughts never stop
and my heart just might pop

i can tell by the way you talk to me
that i'm all you think about
babe don't try to hide it
becasue it goes around
when you look at me
my eyes hit the ground

i shy away from you
because for that brief second tht i looked at you
my barrier, the wall i have been building will tumble into nothing

i will cry in you arms
i will stain your shirt with my tears
the pain i have been hiding will show itself to you
the fear that is inside me will let you know about it's presence

i can't look at you
i just can't
but that dosen't stop me

i take a peak and just like i predicted
i crumbled into that weak little girl i swore i would never go back to
this is why i shouldn't look at you
