Lost Poem by Johnathan Todd

Lost

Rating: 3.5

Trying to fill this giant hole,

That hole deep inside, burning my soul

From Dawn 'till Dusk, and from Dusk 'till Dawn,

I try and I try, but can't seem to move on,

I can't imagine life without you,

I just don't know what I would do,

You brighten my soul and warm my heart,

Now i only worry about growing apart,

I'm hoping to stay close because it's you I can't lose,

It would only result in a perminant bruise,

A cheek covered by a tear,

A tear of joy, sorrow, and fear,

Joy is what I feel everytime you're around,

Only with a smile, you don't even have to make a sound,

Sorrow is what is left everytime you're away,

Just glad you read and listen to what I have to say,

And fear is what I have we are nowhere near,

That's when I really can't think clear.
