Lost In A World Of Lies Poem by foufa la perle

Lost In A World Of Lies

It gets too quite tonight,
only me, a little notebook and my mind.
I knew that it’s going to be hard,
so hard, to keep fighting in silence,
till the morning light…
an old memory, that I can’t let go and die.
Some words, some pain tears and smiles.

-don’t you worry, I’ll be alright…
I’m just little tired of losing you, of losing me,
of being lost in a world of lies!

The sun shines with rain drops
make a beautiful rainbow to color our lives,
lonely souls and lonely hearts…
busy streets and wasted times…

-don’t you worry, I’ll be alright…
I’m just little tired of losing you, of losing me,
of being lost in a world of lies!

I see a fake smile on your face,
while you’re burning inside…
I hear your heart beats getting too loud,
while I’m searching for you in the crowd,
I’d beg you to stay…
but, you know that I tried, and tried
all I get at the end is a lonely sad music,
and a beautiful crushed goodbye.

-don’t you worry, I’ll be alright…
I’m just little tired of losing you, of losing me,
of being lost in a world of lies!

- Oh, don’t you worry, I’ll be alright…
I’m just little tired of losing you, of losing me,
of being lost in a world of lies!

…of being lost.
