So quickly it came to me, so quickly it went
The love of my life, gone, not another word sent.

It’s a mysterious world we live in.
One full of hurt and pain,
I want the magic back
Please come back to me again.

I promise I won’t hurt you
Or tell you any lies
I promise to give you my all
This is me, no disguise.

I want you to come back
And tell me it’s all ok
I need you in my life again
I need you to come back and stay.

Please don’t run away from this
It’s so silly and small.
It really didn’t mean anything
Not anything at all.

I told you I love you
And I meant every word
You don’t have to love me back
I just needed to be heard.

I think I have lost you now,
As much as it hurts today.
I can’t keeping living and holding on
To something you could never say
