Lost Lovers Poem by Evangeline walker

Lost Lovers

He feels the pain of her missing inside
but he covers it up, its easy to hide
yet he will never weep, no he will never cry
it feels like a knife has torn through his chest
with the pain he bares he shall not rest
but he does not hurt in earnest
no he does not hurt in vain
for she has heard his silent call
and she will find him again
