Lost Winter Poem by Suresh Dogra

Lost Winter

Lost Winter
Winter is no playmate
As we patiently wait
For summer to relieve
Us for bracing reprieve
In coils of heat tossing
Sweating bodies washing
We pine for winter days
Cool breeze and sun's mild rays

It is our human lot
To yearn for what is lost
