Love Poem by Nazim Mallick

Love

Sailing through the seas of life, No sign of a shore
Roaming the way the wind would sway

Nights would drift without a spell
Looking at the sky I was about to cry

As I was losing my hope of the shore
I saw a pretty star glowing at me

She guided me towards a lane
Making me follow her splendor

I fought the waves of terror and tides of pain
Only to follow this blissful game

Here I have reached the fertile plain
Where are you my Secret star?

Leaving me alone without your shine

The joy of reaching has drifted now
I set to sail again in the waves
To loose my path and wander like slaves

Hoping my star
Will show up again to give me light and relieve my pain

If my reaching the post will make you wane
I would wander the sea, never reaching the plain

Love - The theme is a never dying spring Each time fresh, new and sweet Your thoughts they bring to mind Love is an eternal search To find peace and solace and rest We sure wouldn't mind being slaves of Love! A beautiful poem, Nazim.
