I sit here thinking day after day
about the love you give from a world away.

A love I can't touch, I can only see.
A love I can't hold, but it's sure holding me.

Holding my heart day after day,
craving your love from a world away.

Craving your kisses, your safe, warm embrace.
The touch of your hand caressing my face.

The touch of your body pressed hard against mine.
Making love together for the very first time.

Love and passion filling the night.
Being in your arms, nothing could feel so right.

Waking to see you in the bright morning's sun.
The smile on your face, it compares to none.

A smile so bright, filled with such love and respect
Reflecting a love I could never forget.

The love that you give from a world away
Has earned you my heart, and with you it can stay.
