Love At First Sight

From the moment, I saw her
She captured my heart
Love at first sight
Right from the start.
With hair so fine
Eyes of blue
I touched her hand
At that moment, I knew.
Everyday I would say a prayer
To provide and protect her
In this life, we would share.
Into my arms,
For the very first time,
I trembled with awe,
At this daughter of mine.
