Daniel Artemas Harmon

(May 10,1965 / Berkeley, Ca.)

Love came my way

I came to the city

afraid and alone,

lookin to find me

a love of my own....

The cold rain was fallin

the skies all were gray,

when suddenly, darlin,

your love came my way.

I found you, sweet little darlin,

found you, lonely and blue,

found you, sweet little darlin,

now I'm in love with you.

Now flowers are bloomin,

the sun shines above

the world is in springtime

since we fell in love.

poet Henry Lawson

The old year went, and the new returned, in the withering weeks of drought,
The cheque was spent that the shearer earned,
and the sheds were all cut out;
