Love Equals Humbleness Poem by Zaira Alindo

Love Equals Humbleness

I’ve tried to say I hate you, but you humble yourself.
I’ve tried to let you angry, but you answered, “I care for you”
I’ve tried to say I’ll leave you now, but you replied, “I will always be here for you”

I’ve tried to tell you -be gone, but you said, “You’re important to me”
I hate myself of learning to care, because in truth, I care for you.
I hated myself every time that I’m thinking, because indeed, I’m thinking of you.

I hate myself of learning to love, because it’s you whom I love
And I’ll hate myself more if I haven’t done all of these
I regret the times I made you cry for it hurts me twice
I wish not to see you in tears, for I’ll be soak with mine
I long not the moment of goodbye for part of me will die

I can surpass the pain of fate.

I can win against disease.

I can fathom the courst.

I can walk between times, just because of you.
I promise not but I assure,

I believe in you.

I care for you.

I love you,
And I always will.
