Love For All Seasons Poem by Teresa Dearing

Love For All Seasons

Rating: 5.0

Hot moist air, silky sand,
Dancing waves of blue,
The smell of the salty sea,
All for my love so true.

Hand in hand we stroll,
Nothing more we want to do,
But gaze into each others eyes,
To kiss, to cuddle, and coo.

The moment too soon a memory,
Perhaps a video or a still,
But in my love's arms I'll stay,
To ward off the winter's chill.

In every couples life,
The seasons, ebb and flow,
But love anchored solid and firm,
Will hold as life storms blow.

For even in paradise,
Sands become wet and cold,
Waves dance with gray rage,
But together we grow old.
