Love Found Then Lost Poem by Alison Eeles

Love Found Then Lost

Rating: 5.0

A shallow dream,
The vast plane deepens
A feeling of nothingness so full, so sweet,
Filling every corner of my yearning soul.

The rains of purity wash away my despair,
A feeing of pure ecstacy engulfes me..
The thought of the unknown evades me
I expect my hesitation, though I resist my resistance.
In nothing but a thought.. just a thought.

The gentle whispers of a song...
So familiar yet so unique.. beats away in my ear..
A beat of anticipation flickers in my mind.
And you.... the gravity of my hearts desire, pulling at me,
The warm gushing of my heart, a new sensation, a surge of purity.

The contentment in my mind drowns my every thought,
As my heart yearns for the touch of your skin,
The warmth of your breath, and the beating of your heart...
Which thuds against my cheek like thunder..

The flipside of a life I only ever dreamed of, awaits at my doorstep.
Your eyes burning with desire, flickering,
Wanting, yearning.... Two souls destined
To beat to the same drum.

The silhouette of my wanting disappears,
No longer a dream, reality pounds in my head.
That bounding force, driving my every need...
The hands of time, a post of nothingness,
But a symbol of forever..

The endless assurance of tomorrow shines upon us.
Today we belong only in the vibration of life..
The energy of ourselves invades us like a storm,
The intensity of a connection,
Only the universe will explain...in time... in time...

A new beginning, a new chapter,
The magic of life, the thought of love,
Spills into a story... a beautiful story.
The sands of existence the only proof,
Swirling together as one...
To form a rock.. The hum of life lives on,
Forever, forever...
