Every night I wonder
Just where I would be
If you hadn't spoken
Those lovely words to me

When you said, "I love you"
I wasn't sure what to do
So I said those words
Right back to you

Loving is never easy
We'll both have to try
But I believe we'll make it
I feel we'll get by

The road may get bumpy
With a few twists and turns
I know we'll navigate it
As lessons will be learned

That not every road is smooth
Nor is every road straight
But if we travel them together
We will seal out fate

By facing things together
Never going it alone
Love should be a partnership
That turns a house into a home
