Love Is What We Feel Poem by Balogun Segun Gbenga

Love Is What We Feel

Behold the stars, take a look at the moon

What feelings amass, perhaps our love so soon?

Close your eyes, listen to your heartbeat

Does it enchant ice to achieve this feat?

Take a view of the ocean, stare at the river

What's in your imagination even awe like a diva?

Listen to the sound of the wind, feel the warmth of the sun

What insight does it weaned or do you take this as a fun?

We can't run away frm our shadows!

No more disguise; no more pretence, oh!

Go to the termite, ask how they build their house

It is with trust, it is in unity

Visit the bee, ask how they made their honey

It is with love, it is in harmony

Why should I let go when you meant so many?

Our love goes beyond culture, ethnic barrier it surpasses

What more description is better since the feelings is mutual?

What more illustration will I use to show you that

Love is what we feel
