Have you heard of love letters
Written on dewy, red rose petals
For this lady who is closet to my chest
I try finding ways to love her best
Writing on petals is super hard
Because words slip and fall apart
It requires intricate layers of care
To write poems on petals in flair
All the poems that I've written so far
Most of them have been chocolate bars
Exquisitely wrapped and signed with love
For the one and only who's closest to my heart
